Jensen Rodenheiser, M.S. CCC-SLP, CDP
Speech Language Pathologist
Jensen is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist at Murfreesboro Rehabilitation Hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Alabama and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Georgia Southern University–Armstrong. Jensen is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
Her passion for speech therapy initially began through her love of art and a desire to work with children with autism using art therapy. However, during graduate school, her work with an aphasic patient ignited a deep interest in brain function and the critical role speech therapy plays in post-stroke recovery.
She completed her clinical fellowship at a skilled nursing facility in New York before moving to Tennessee, where she worked in assisted living and memory care units, as well as part-time at skilled nursing facilities, including Murfreesboro Rehab. Jensen is particularly passionate about working with adults recovering from stroke (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and dementia, striving to motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery journey.
Jensen’s approach combines empathy with positivity, helping patients achieve meaningful progress while fostering independence. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, drawing, photography, attending concerts and sporting events, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog, Blue.
